Dr. Hardy is one of the few Jacksonville plastic surgeons who offers hair transplantation services for men and women who are experiencing hair loss. Hair transplantation can be a permanent solution to restore real hair to areas of balding due to a number of reasons. In this procedure a donor strip of skin containing hair follicles is taken from a place on your scalp. The hair follicles are then separated with a microscope and fine instruments. These living follicles are then transplanted back to the balding areas that need them. The entire procedure can be done in one session in Dr. Hardy's office however additional sessions may be needed depending on your needs.
